i'm pretty much done with my finals. i just have to crank one more out tomorrow morning before 12:30 or so, which won't be hard at all. thankfully they came this week, because after the way it started it would've sucked if i still had more classes.how did it start you ask?
it started with arsenal choking like suckers and blowing the one game they needed to win to keep the title race "alive". i mean the game was way too close, and then after leeds got the go-ahead goal near the end we just gave up. literally gave up, there was some 7 minutes of time left and we could've gotten a tying goal. but we didn't even attempt, we just started booting the ball as far down the field as we could.
you can't imagine how much i was screaming, yelling, and cursing at the tv because it seemed we'd get the ball within their box and try to finesse it in. when we should've just been trying to slam the fucking ball home into whatever corner we could find. it's times like that i want to tell them to drop the "style" and just try to get a damned goal. but i'm not sure that'll ever happen. i just hope next year they come back with the same desire and drive they had last season because then, then they would try to win no matter what, be it scrappy, or beautiful.
also the more i listen to aesop rock, the more i wish more people knew about him. his style is so good, and yet almost no one knows him.
