went up to grandma's house in pittsburgh becuase we hadn't been there in ages. was good to see grandmama again. she's always so damned cool..even though she just ('bout 2 months ago) had heart surgery she kept yelling at everyone to "stop babying" her..i got a kick out of my grandma telling my mom to shut the hell up and go away and let her cook. stuff like that make my grandma the best

so while i was up there i went to this comic book shop i frequent whenever i'm up there. and since i hadn't been to ANY comic book shop in ages it felt sort of good to be back. so i pick up a bunch of the 'Liberty Meadows' stuff since Frank Cho rocks ass and as i'm paying for it the guys like "About damned time you came back in here!" was amazing to have that guy remember my face after only going in there every few weeks, whereas the one that used to be by my house NEVER remembered me. oh well...and damn they had some really good Pearl Jam bootlegs that i'd like to buy but couldn't afford them at the time..guess some other trip up there.

oh and i hafta make mention of this, i do some of the weirdest thinking while on those long car trips. all sorts of things pop into my head..and at the most random times..it's kinda freaky actually. but one thing that kept popping up was the fact i'm not #1 on anyone's list of things to do with...like no one will call me up FIRST to see if i want to do anything..i'm always #2. oh well...

oh and in a few hours i'm supposed to go to the NCAA lacrosse championships at UM with ian and a few others but well..i haven't heard from ian so i dunno how that'll happen since the game starts at 10:55 am. oh well...wish me luck!
