make no mistake, today as a whole sucked. i mean literally was terrible. even if i did end up doing a lot of things, like getting my address changed, figuring out how to pack the car, and getting all my clothes packedd away into one box [yes that's how good i am]. nonetheless today was terrible. i mean bad in those, oh i don't want to be here, kind of ways.but tonight..oh tonight was a whole 'nother story. not only was craig awesome, not only did i meet up with caroleigh and we had a decent talk about both the album, but other things, but on the way home i ended up singing along to some blonde in a bmw.
i say sing along, because usually when you're driving along late at night you notice whoever else is in the car you're passing. only i noticed this blond who was singing along to a song, so i put on ted leo and decided to sing/drum along to it. basically i acted like a goofball in tune/time with the music and she was doing the same to her own music. this continued basically the entire way home. needless to say i was throughly enjoying both the music, and the fact that i was 'singing' along with a person in a totally different car.
basically i had, had it happen before but only for a minor bit at stop-lights but never as prolonged as this time. at one point during the drive she asked i believe what i was listening to and i told her [ted leo and the pharmacists] and she said what she was listening to [i think kiss. maybe] but either way we both got off at the same exit and i told her that she definetly made my drive home and she said about the same, it was just a super-fun way to end the night.
because really, how many times does that happen? i've had it happen where someone does it at a stop-light, but never for as long as 20 minutes.
basically it made me forget how annoyed at how shitty today went.
