more than once we had 5 or 6 people lighting off mortars all at the same time so as to get a fully kickass explosions. but really by the end of it my thumb was so fucking sore/burnt from lighting all the different things i just wanted to sit down. that and prior to blowing stuff up i spent the entire day cleaining up the house/deck because ian and his family were coming over.

so i had to start power-washing the back deck as soon as i woke up [at 11, with a hangover no less] and really by afternoon i just wanted to take a nap. not eat a bunch of food and get drunk. that and really when it's fucking 95 degrees and humid as shit beer really doesn't go over well. so i ended up drinking a lot of water and almost no beer. i think maybe for the entire day i had like 2 beers, or one and a half i can't remember.

but really, blowing up that much fireworks more than made up for the lack of being drunk.

now i just have to find some way to kill a lot of time without spending any money because well. i gots to save, i move out in under 10 weeks.
