"way too drunk" @ 02.02.03
it's weird how you can go a few days writing every day, then the weekend rolls around and i can't update. mostly because a typical weekend is like this.

friday - work from 10 to 5, then come home. maybe use the computer for an hour or two [mostly catching up with friends and playing a game or two]. then go out with ian to some bar and drink for the rest of the night. come home at 1 or 2 and crash.

saturday - work from 10 to 6 or so, come home exhausted and eat dinner. veg on the couch for two hours or so, then go back out with ian to work and drink with coworkers. come home at 2 or maybe even 3, and sleep for a few hours.

sunday - wake up and work again from 10 to 6, come home exhausted and eat dinner. veg on the couch or maybe on the computer for an hour or two, then do homework.

see, not exactly a lot of time to update, nor is there usually anything to update about. though something interesting did happen this weekend.

last night ian and i decided to head up to work and drink. since well it's not a bad atmosphere [there's a guy who plays music who looks exactly like rod stewart, and usuallly when he's around, things get a bit crazy], and this was on exception. i think we got there at about 9 or so and saw some other friends, we drink for a while, then more and more other server's end up coming over. pretty soon everyone's bombed out of their skulls and partying like it's 1999. eventually at this point ian and i realize we're hungy for some taco-bell and we were to meet up with some other people at the other 'local' bar. and so we leave. [nothing really happens on our end, we get the food, go to the other bar and drink a bit until it's last call].

and all this time i keep wondering where the people from houlihan's are at cause they said they were coming over. well turns out everyone kept drinking, to the point of doing stupid things. one manager almost got into a fight with some guy because of comments the guy said about his girlfriend [who's a server, which is yet another no-no], then a server got into shit with appleby's people for something or another [i'm not sure exactly why]. a manager decided she had finally had enough and quit on the spot, and just in general, people got way too fucking drunk.

so now we're forbidden to drink at work, ever. which totally blows chunks because a friend's coming up this weekend and it would've been nice to see rod stewart with him cause he'd enjoy him. oh well somehow i think it'll still happen. we'll see i guess.
