we went to atlanta, specifically athens, for the cousins wedding. it was...interesting. mostly because it was so different than any wedding i had been to before. there was no reception afterwards, no big extended family showing up. just a few people from the brides side [maybe 15] and 7 of us from the grooms side. it just doesn't seem right to not be celebrating by having a big party and drinking a lot, i mean that's the normal thing to do. not do well..anything. there was one interesting thing where the bride and groom basically wrote their own vows so to say, but didn't ever know what the other had written until the actual wedding, so they were getting all emotional during it [like the family members] because it was something they were hearing for the first time. other than that there wasn't much that happeend. we all went out as a group, my family and my aunt's. if you're ever in athen's don't go to the "athens steam and steelworks tavern" [i think that's what it was called] their food was so crappy it waasn't even funny. beecause who the hell makes a steak and cheese with a normal honest to god steak? i mean what the fuck, it was damned impossible to eat the fucking thing. and after going out last night i had to work this morning. note to self: do not go to work that hungover again, please. i can't take that again, it was fucking torture. thanks. scud
