i offically smashed the family record of here to pittsburgh, 3 hours thank you very much. yes i was traveling at a speed much higher than the posted speed limit, but so what. i didn't get a ticket, of course one of the rabbits i was following did, but hey, that's why you follow the rabbit and not lead.the family was nice, there was a few inches of snow on the ground so it feel like a 'normal' or 'proper' visit to grandma's. when there's no snow it doesn't feel quite right cause i mean, it's supposed to always have snow on the ground there.
it's oddly comforting to stand upstairs while everyone eats their dinner and understand every word they say even with the door closed to the basement. that's the kinda familly we are.
other than that i realized the driving is the one place where i can not think about anything, just stare at the road infront of me and drive. i don't know how many times i'd be driving and totally forget where along the turnpike i was, or what speed i was going because i was just keeping the same space between myself and the car infront of me.
