you see for once in the past month i've manged to make a halfway decent amount of money and so i decided i'd actually go cosmic bowling with the rest of the people i work with.

so i headed out of work [after managing to get out of the crap i hate to do the most (rolling silverware, and cleaning the salad-dressings)] with halfway decent spirits, i mean i had made some alright money and managed to get out without doing the things i hate the most. i gave a friend a ride home since he doens't have a car and well i'm a nice guy.

went over to a friends house to meet up with everyone and figure out where this bowling alley is since i've never been to it before and we head over after having a few first, since well, most of us aren't 21.

meanwhile the rest of our 'group' from work had already been there for well..i dunno how long, but a while. and just as i'm sitting down one of the guys from works tells me someone needs to bowl for our female bartender and since i had wanted to play i decided to. i bowled a frame [got a spare] and got the right bowling shoes so no one bitched at me.

then proceeded to bowl a pretty half-decent game [at least for me] and somewhat drunk as almost every other frame someone from work would sit me in a chair, put people all around me, and tell me to drink. course it made the whole bowling thing weird/hard because the more you drink the harder it is to see straight so throwing the bowling ball down the lanes in a straight line is hard as hell.

now for the meeting random people at 1am in the bowling alley. [see i was gonna get there, just wanted to set up the backstory!]

so i'm helping a friend out and bowling someone elses game since they don't want to finish it [don't ask me, all i know was i was told to bowl on another lane and so that equalled fun (at least it did last night)] so i'm there bowling and all of a sudden i turn around and see two guys i know pretty damned well. one of them i used to work with at cooker, and the other is his good friend who i became friends with too.

turns out the guys were up there cosmic bowling with their girlfriends and were on their way out. if i was smarter [and possibly a little more sober] then i would've told them to stick around if they could and they could've come out with the rest of my group. but oh well.

so the night was fun, i had fun, and i got to see two friends i haven't seen in a while. hopefully they'll come into logans tonight and i can hook'm up with some drinks and we'll all have a good time.
