see i left work in awesome spirits, i had worked a sunday night shift and managed to pull in a hundred bucks, which was exactly what i needed so i could make the car payments on the shitty focus. and i mean i only had 4 tables. two of them were big with both bills over 200 bucks, and one of the tables was a bunch of drunk hairdressers [it's always a minor ego boost when they start hitting on you, even if they do have kids your own age, still makes ya feel a bit better inside.] so i had a pretty fun night with my tables, and managed to pull in more then i've ever pulled in on a sunday night. so i was feeling so damned good when i left work, figuring it was a sign of how the rest of the week would be..

but as i'm pulling into the main road down into my developement i suddenly feel the car's back end slide out, i correct it and think "wow interesting..didn't think that'd happen" then i realize that something's not right. either the tire went flat, or just came off the rim, but i had no back passenger side tire anymore.

i pull off the road and take a look at said tire, it's all sorts of fucked up, but looks like it's just off the rim. so i rummage in the back of the car for the spare and sure enough one's there..but i'm missing something..a damned tire-iron. my stupid fucking sister didn't put one in the car, so now i had to call home to get someone to come bring a tire-iron just so i could change the fucking tire and get home.

i knew as soon as i called my house that my dad would give me shit about not-knowing how to change a tire, and sure enough just as he's leaving after helping with the tire he tells me i should learn how to fix my own tire. please...if anything i've change more tires on other people's cars then my own.

now i'm not sure if the tire thing is a sign of how the week will be..or if the 100 bucks is..either way i guess i sorta got my wish from friday in that i hoped the weekend would go kinda quick and wouldn't be too bad. it sure's gone pretty quick, and wasn't too bad, barring the tire-incident.
