i gipped a waiter out of his tip.

but oh no folks this wasn't any ordinary waiter. myself and kb couldn't decide where to eat and kept going back and forth...so we decided to go to TGIFriday's because we had been there once before and their food was pretty good.

so we went in and got a table. now it's 3 pm on a sunday..the place was pretty damned empty. we sit down at a table and wait...and wait...and wait. finally some 6 minutes after we sat down our waiter shows up and takes our drink and appitizer orders. then we wait some more..and more..and finally some other person brings us our drinks. we figure out what we wanted to eat and wait...finally a few minutes later the guy shows up and takes our orders, and shortly after he does we get our appitizers..and we eat them, and in doing so i used up my napkin [which i won't realize until later] with the wiping of my hands and whatnot. like 7 minutes after we finish the appitizer the guy comes around and takes our plates...and some 5 minutes after that someone besides our waiter brings us our food. at which point we're like 'does our waiter do anything himself?' turns out he doesn't because he came around a few minutes later and i asked for a refil on my soda, he walks away and i finally see i have no damned napkin and my hands are pretty messy...so i wait for him to come back, figuring he'll be back in a minute or less..but nope, he wasn't. 4 minutes later some totally new person brings us new drink and i ask him for some napkins..which he gets for me immedietly. after we finished off everything the guy asks if we want anything else and we just say the check, and by now we want to really see how long it takes him to do something..and if he'll even bring us the damned check, or will someone else. so we time him...took him almost 10 minutes to get us our check, and yes he actually brought it.

by that point i was livid, i mean i've never, ever, ever seen anyone at any restaurant i've worked in do something like he did. so we left him nothing, nary a friggin penny. and i would've said something to his manager but we couldn't find anyone resembling a manager..so we just left. kb was mad that i did that..but jesus fuck the guy was a retard. if he was loaded with tables he should've told us..i know i've done that with my tables. and if he was new..he should've said that. but he didn't, instead he told us that he'd "be happy to go get you new drinks now" when his stupid ass probably didn't, the other servers did. kb made an interesting comment that she felt we should give a bit of money to all the other servers since they were the ones doing all the work.

so i was bad, but not really, because that server deserved it...i've never seen such a well..bad server. i mean if he wasn't doing anything with our table because we were 'kids' then he's an idiot, because someone's it's good to get 'kids' because they're servers too..and give you fat tips. which is why i treat'm as good as i do any other guest, but guess he's too stupid to do that.

anyways that was basically the 'highlight' of today..and now i have to go work my ass off to barely pull an F in a class i despise. score.
