and they're right.

it's been too damned long since i've seen my extended family. cause damnit they're a hoot.

so needless to say i had a good time up there. been way too long, and it was worth missing the money from work just to see my grandma's face when she got sight of me. she just kept saying "i didn't think i'd get to see you!" over and over again. jebus my grandma owns.

in other unrelated news. jess is coming out here..not for quite as long as i had hoped, or for how long we had talked about. but i guess i'll hafta take what i can. anyway's she's asking for some help for ideas of things here tho i don't think i'm supposed to know..but little does she know that whenever someone posts a message on my board that i get an e-mail with whatever the message states. hee.

and finally some sadnews for those of us sci-fi people. douglas adam's [click the link to see a nice tribute] died today while working out of a heart attack. he was only like 48..and if you're a complete dunce he's the person who wrote "The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy" and other books that were a hoot and a half. so yet another of the few remaining good author's has bit the dust.
