yes thankfully it did. i managed to actually look like i knew what i was doing, even did a pretty good job of it. the downside you ask? [you knew it was coming..didn't you?] was that i only had 2 tables to wait, half of what you're normally supposed to have. i suppose this is cause of my fuckups yesterday but grr..that meant i could only get half the money in tips. plus i had a couple sit in one of my two tables for fucking ever i swear they were there for like 2 hours, i so wanted to punch them in the head. then right before my shift ended i had a single guy, brought him his food quickly among other things. what sorta tip does he leave me? a bucks ninety-nine, yup you got that right, not even two fucking dollars. what a goddamn tight-wad. when i saw that up on the check i wanted to beat his head in with the plate.

but i didn't cause i'm a good waiter.

in other assorted news jess gave me my first bday present..a gold membership thing. so yay now i had a pointless banner that everyone might get to see..or you can see it now! whoo-wee.

oh yes today was interesting for another reason. i got a talking to by mormon missionaries. now you're probably asking "why the hell did you waste time talking to them?" but it was for a few reasons. i had a friend in HS go out and do missionary work, infact to..so i felt for these guys. plus it was raining like mad outside and they were cold. so i gave 'em a break. plus i also don't mind hearing about other religions..i might not believe what they say..but i do enjoy hearing about 'em.

so on tuesday we get to have another "session" as they put it [there are 6 all together (who knows if i'll be around for all)] and well..it should be interesting.

oh yea and i'm so good at one point one guy asked me a question and i had no idea i almost said "shit i don't know." but carefully muttered the shit before saying "i dunno.." damn i'm smooth.
